MIXED BRANDS PERFORMANCE GROUP ENROLLMENT

1ST - MEMBER'S COMMITMENTS

MIXED Manufacturers Service & Parts Managers Performance Group meetings are two two-day each year (e.g., one spring March - July, one fall August - December). The member's responsibility is to attend every meeting set forth by their Performance Group. Dates and locations of all meetings are decided upon well before their occurrence. Scheduling around planned meeting dates is necessary for attendance on the part of every member.


The member's responsibility is ensuring their accounting office submits monthly service and parts portions of their financial statement. For their Performance Group's monthly composite, the dealership accounting department must provide a copy of the financial information for their Service and Parts Department areas no later than the 15th day of the following month, plus the previous year's financial statement of the same reporting month. 

2ND - MBA DEALER SERVICES, LLC's RESPONSIBILITIES

MBA Dealer Services, LLC will make all necessary arrangements for the host hotel, including but not limited to the meeting room, meeting room equipment, other equipment such as projector, projector screen, and flip chart; continental breakfast for each meeting day; and lunch for each meeting day. MBA Dealer Services, LLC will also negotiate with the host hotel for a discounted rate for hotel rooms on behalf of the members. When choosing a host hotel, a venue close to an airport, availability and cost are considered. The membership enrollment fees provide a continental breakfast each morning and lunch on both days. Day 1 is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Day 2 is 7:30 am - 12:00 pm, all local time of the city where the meeting is held. The early time on Friday accommodates those who travel by car or plane. Most meetings are held on Thursday and Friday.

3rd - MEMBER'S TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES

Members are responsible for their transportation, meals, transportation to and from the host city, airfare, and transportation costs to and from the airport/hotel. Members are also responsible for the cost of their hotel room and must guarantee their hotel room for each meeting. 

4th - BEST PRACTICE SESSION

Each dealership should present a "Best Practice" to their Group for the spring meetings only. The 'Idea' should have been successful in their dealership or fixed operations. The 'Idea' should be printed on the dealership's letterhead. Only those ideas tested at the dealership with known results are permitted. 5th - COST PER PERSON

The cost includes the meeting room rental, meeting equipment, meeting handout materials, composite financial publication, moderation by MBA Dealer Services, LLC, breakfast, and lunch on both meeting days.

6th - CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS

MBA Dealer Services, LLC regrets that there are no refunds of the registration fee or membership fee for failure to attend a meeting either in-person or virtually because of a limited number of persons attending, not participating in a Performance Group event, or early termination of Performance Group membership. This non-refundable policy is due to the minimum number of participants needed to secure a venue, our travel costs, accommodations, and meeting preparation time.

HOW TO ENROLL

Membership fees are due at the time of enrollment. The membership fee is payable by check, PayPal, or Venmo. Once registered, you must supply the names and contact information of those attending the meetings and the last 13 months of financial statements (13 total; one for each consecutive month) for the service and parts departments only. NUMBER OF DEALERSHIPS/ATTENDEES

The minimum enrollment number is either/or ten dealerships or 12 attendees. These minimums are necessary to hold any Mixed-Manufacturer Performance Group with a maximum of 20 dealerships. If you or your dealership does not enroll, we cannot know how many people/dealerships wish to do so! We will enroll you into another Group or refund your enrollment if we cannot accommodate your location request. So please enroll ASAP. MBA Dealer Services, LLC will inform you of the number of dealerships/people registered.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many can attend from each store? 

  • Three from each dealership may attend in person.

  

Do I have to attend with my service manager? Do I have to participate with my parts manager? 

  • No, but we want to encourage you to do so. This meeting is not just for Service or Parts Managers. We encourage Service Managers and Parts Managers to attend together. However, we also realize that many of you are Service & Parts Managers or Parts & Service Managers, so you may attend alone.


Do I have to identify my dealership in the financial composite?

  • Your dealership's composite numbers are ANONYMOUS to all other members. However, you may choose to identify your dealership only if you wish.


Do I have to stay at the host hotel? 

  • No, feel free to stay wherever you like. Keep in mind hotel accommodations are your responsibility wherever you decide to stay.


If I wish to stay longer at the hotel, what are the rates before/after the meeting?

  • The hotel usually extends the rates as quoted to MBA Dealer Services. Please get in touch with the hotel directly to inquire.
