Dealership - MBA 20 Group Advantages

  • No long-term contracts: our member CDJRARF and MIXED dealerships continue to do business with us because they want to. 
  • We have designed our Service & Parts Manager 20 Groups to encompass all size dealerships for comparison purposes (our reason for average per month statistics and data).
  • We have in-house processing and data management; we NEVER send or share your information with a vendor or other 20 Group members.
  • The attending member/dealership understands that their fixed operations financial information will be disclosed to MBA Dealer Services, LLC. 
  • The attending member/dealership agrees to submit their actual financial statement pages for fixed operations or iExam reports for the rolling 12-month period requested for the group's financial composite.
  • Our meeting composite compares your service and parts numbers to NADA's industry data benchmarks.
  • Our 20 Group members benefit from the overview of both Service and Parts Department financial data by comparing their dealership numbers against YOY, rates-of-change, Group averages, all 20 Group averages, and best-in-class dealers.
  • Access to online resources and reports that allow members to dig deeper into their fixed operations data.
  • All members/dealerships join for no less than a rolling 12-month period (2 meetings, e.g., spring & fall, fall & spring)
  • Membership fees for the rolling 12-month period are due and payable upon enrollment or no less than three weeks before the meeting date.
  • Unless there are extraordinary circumstances, your CDJRARF and MIXED20 Group enrollment fees will never increase! (Members would be advised that your 20 Group would have to vote to accept your enrollment fees are renewed yearly, e.g., two consecutive meetings, and paid by the due date.)
  • The dealership is responsible for membership fees and all member travel expenses.
  • Dealers, General Managers, CFOs, Controllers, and Office Managers may attend at a significant discount each meeting without registering for two consecutive sessions.

Members - MBA 20 Group Advantages

  • All our meetings are hybrid, both in-person and virtual (everyone attends the same session). Members choose how they wish to attend.
  • Our Moderator will lead your 20 Group and provide a professional analysis of the membership department's financial performance, along with expert advice and industry knowledge.
  • Access to an assortment of fixed operations 20 Group ideas, and best practices.
  • Discussions of other Service and Parts Best Practices to generate solutions that members can take back to their dealerships for future implementation.
  • 20 Group Members may attend any meeting anywhere they choose; of course, we hope they stay with the 20 Group they initially enrolled with, but it is nice to travel to different conferences.
  • When two managers initially enroll from the same dealership, one may switch out in the fall meeting or the following spring meeting with someone from the same dealership.
  • All 20 Group members may attend any other spring or fall meeting virtually without charge (they must be a member in good standing).
  • Your Moderator is available online, by appointment, to review your department's financials, processes, ideas, or anything you wish to discuss without charge as part of your CDJRARF and MIXED 20 Group membership (must be a member in good standing).
  • Many of our 20 Groups meet at destination locations and bring their spouses, significant others, and families.
  • Although it is not required, you should attend with your counterpart; for Service Managers/Directors, please bring your Parts Managers/Directors; for Parts Managers/Directors, please bring your Service Managers/Directors.
  • You may also invite your dealer, General Manager, CFO, Controller, Office Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Assistant Parts Manager, Service Advisor, and Parts Advisor.
  • Proper attire is required for both days of our meetings. Unless otherwise announced, business casual is our code; no jeans or sneakers. Ties and sport coats are NOT required.
  • We encourage all dealership members to bring a "Best Practice" to all our spring meetings only to formally present the idea to their group in our "Best Practice Session." One idea per store is requested. Entry fees are the responsibility of the presenting manager(s). Please see your moderator for details.
